Clube do Remo

Belém is the city where the foundations of a club were laid in 1905, originally with a focus on rowing. The organisation later went through a reorganisation process and adopted the name Clube do Remo, while football gradually became a central part of its activities.

The club has played a role in the sporting development of Pará state and remains active across different disciplines, from swimming to futsal. Its identity is closely linked to the Amazon region, and its history reflects the local sporting environment. Across different periods, the organisation has maintained strong ties with the community and with its long-standing presence in the region.

São Paulo FC

Founded in early 1930, São Paulo Futebol Clube emerged from the merger between Club Athletico Paulistano and Associação Atlética das Palmeiras. This background shaped a club structure that went through early challenges, including dissolution in 1935 and reorganisation later the same year under a new framework. These developments formed part of the wider growth of football in Brazil during that period.

The club is based in the Morumbi district of São Paulo, an area strongly connected to Brazilian football. São Paulo competes in both the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and the Campeonato Paulista and has maintained a continuous presence at the top level of the national football system. Organisationally, the club operates as a multi-sport association with a membership structure and direct internal management of its professional football activities.

Alongside football, São Paulo also supports additional sporting areas, including women’s football, basketball and futsal. The club also maintains a structured player development system through training facilities and academy programmes for younger athletes.
